compare-health: runs the scan-all scan and compares it with the previous run: which violations are new, fixed or unchanged, per rule and per file.Remarks
scan-all returns a window of
maxResultsviolations and sums only that window, so a comparison of two scan-all answers would compare two windows. This tool takes the complete result, stores it as a snapshot in the target project (default.angular-modernizer-cache/health/last-run.json, ignored like the cache) and compares the next run against it.The snapshot is replaced after every comparison unless
updateSnapshotis false. When the stored run used another scope (rules, include or exclude patterns) or the file cannot be read, nothing is compared and the file is kept unlessupdateSnapshotis explicitly true. A cancelled scan throws instead of comparing or writing a partial snapshot.
