    Class PrivacyFilter

    Anonymizes sensitive information in transformation feedback: file paths and the project are hashed with a salt, numeric values are bucketed and code snippets are removed. PrivacyFilter.auditPrivacy checks a record before storage.

    • Anonymize file path (hash preserving directory structure)

      Parameters

      • path: string
      • salt: string

      Returns string

      Input:  "src/app/user/user.component.ts"
      Output: "abc123/def456/ghi789/jkl012.component.ts"

      Preserves: directory depth, file extension, file type suffix
      Removes: actual directory and file names

    • Anonymize project ID (consistent hashing)

      Same project always gets same ID (consistency) Different projects get different IDs (uniqueness)

      • projectPath: string
      • salt: string

      Returns string

    • Bucket numeric value (preserve trends, hide exact values)

      Parameters

      • value: number
      • buckets: number[]

      Returns string

      bucketValue(147, [0, 100, 500, 1000]) → "medium"
      bucketValue(47, [0, 100, 500, 1000]) → "small"

    • Generate random salt for hashing

      Returns string
