    Arguments to pass to the tool

    checkpoint?: boolean

    Whether to create a checkpoint after this step

    dependencies: string[]

    Step IDs that must complete before this step can run. A step from a plain JSON caller may omit it; WorkflowEngine.execute treats a missing list as empty.

    description: string

    Description of what this step does

    estimatedDuration?: number

    Estimated execution time in milliseconds. A dry run waits this long instead of calling the tool (default 100).

    id: string

    Unique identifier for this step

    name: string

    Human-readable name

    optional?: boolean

    Whether a failure of this step is recorded as skipped instead of failing the workflow

    retry?: { delayMs: number; maxAttempts: number }

    Type Declaration

    • delayMs: number

      Wait before each retry in milliseconds.

    • maxAttempts: number

      Retries after the first failed attempt.

    tool: string

    Tool to execute (transform-code, run-schematic, validate, etc.), passed to ToolExecutor.executeTool.
